Ways to Access eBooks
Ways to Access Digital Media
There are a few eBook options available to you.  All digital resources can be accessed through your Clever account.  
  • Sora/OverDrive - This resource is provided by the JPS District and is a good source of eBooks and audiobooks.  Remember that you are sharing this account with all the students in JPS, so it is wise to place a HOLD on a title you would like to read and wait for it to become available.  If you have a library card for the Jackson/Hinds Library System (and other libraries), you may link to them and get books through them as well.  
  • myON - This resource is provided by the JPS District and is a good resource for shorter reads and nonfiction titles.  
  • MackinVIA - This resource is provided by Chastain Middle School.  The library has joined a state-wide consortium that allows many school libraries access to eBooks at a much lower price than buying them individually.  MackinVIA is the digital platform where the Chastain Library will purchase eBooks in the future.
